Earlier this year I was asked by Vinyl Me, Please to contribute to their series about the best record store in each state, and I chose The Sound Garden as the best store in Maryland. After all 50 states were covered, they decided to compile all of the essays, including mine, in a coffee table book. And The Best Record Stores In The United States is out today as an official Record Store Day Black Friday product, with 1000 copies being sold in most of the stores featured in the book, including The Sound Garden.
