Woah: in this interview, Queen Latifah gives a shout out to one of my favorite bands, the Posies. Apparently there's also an interview with Movieline where she talks about listening to "Coming Right Along" to get ready for her death scene in "Set It Off". I don't really care if the only thing she knows by them is a song that was on the Basketball Diaries soundtrack, just the fact that Queen Latifah has repeatedly given props to a power pop/grunge footnote like the Posies has made my day.
