Hurricane Chris - "Leaving You" (mp3)
This week my review of 51/50 Ratchet is in the City Paper. I picked it up after hearing "Hand Clap" and realizing that, of the producers I profiled for Scratch Magazine, Phunk Dawg is definitely my favorite (and it turns out the full text of the article is on the Scratch site). The synth on this track is sick, as good as anything Timbo/Danja or anyone else has done lately. This whole Ratchet City thing might have some potential.
