When I began this recurring feature last year, it was in part founded on the premise that these posse cut remixes are much easier to semi-objectively rate on a numerical scale than most other music: either it was an improvement on the original song, or an interesting twist, or it's worthless victory lap mixtape fodder. Still, obviously this ranking is all my personal opinion, although I took an informal poll and my general grasp of public opinion into consideration.

Of course, there's plenty of middling remixes that didn't fit into the best or the worst, but no honorable mentions for the shit that couldn't be either great or memorably shitty. That Wayne is almost equally ubiquitous on both lists just about says it all, really.
